Check for a few formatting errors if you believe that you have entered a correct value but the screen indicated an incorrect answer:
- do not use a dollar sign - enter only a number
- enter only a whole number - round numbers to the nearest dollar
- be sure that you have included commas in the number
- check for missing parentheses or added spaces
